Hortense has always been made for manual activities. When she was little she wanted to do something with her hands but her family wanted otherwise. She wanted to go to art school but ended up in communication. She continued in that direction while taking ceramic lessons for years, a hobby. After a stint at Karine Tarin's studio in Bordeaux and at the Mire studio in Paris, she had a revelation and decided to devote herself entirely to ceramics. She began a CAP and continued on for a year of enamel research.
Matte and soft, as opposed to rough mat. There is also a story of taste, with colors that draw towards the green-blue, which she quite simply likes. Always bright, never dull. All of its glazes are made from natural minerals. The range will soon be extended to brilliants.
